Gerald A. Walsh MST, MBA, CPA
Gerry has over 40 years of experience in public accounting.
Gerry graduated from the University of Maryland, passed the CPA exam, and immersed himself in public accounting. Upon completing his MBA at Loyola University and later, a Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of Baltimore, Gerry entered academia.
He taught every single Accounting course (from Principles to Advanced and Auditing) while teaching at Salisbury University, University of Maryland Global Campus, Washington College, and Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York.
When he turned 40, Gerry returned to his native Howard County and re-entered public accounting, at Stegman and Company, a large regional CPA firm in Towson. While there, as a Director, he provided accounting and tax services to individuals and small businesses as well as publicly traded companies.
In 2014 Gerry launched his own firm in Columbia, Maryland providing Accounting, Advising, and Tax services to Corporate and Individual clients.
Gerry is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and Maryland Society of Accounting and Tax Professionals (MSATP). He also serves on the Peer Review Committee of the MACPA.
